Products earn the Techlicious Certified Seal through one of two paths. Brands may engage the Techlicious Certified program directly, submitting products for evaluation and receiving a detailed report on our findings. Techlicious may also evaluate products at our own editorial initiative, applying the same criteria and standards without brand participation or payment. In both cases, the evaluation process is identical and the outcome is determined entirely by our findings. Products that don’t meet our standards don’t earn the seal — regardless of how the evaluation originated.
